A required schedules water outage is expected to start at 8 AM on Monday, November 10th and is expected to be restored by 5 PM the same day.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, a contractor must reroute a water main located in the area in front of 6711 Boat Race Road due to conflict with a storm drainage line being installed.
Customers in the affected area may experience discolored water and/or entrained air for approximately 24 hours after the water has been restored. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This "Precautionary Boil Water Notice" will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
An announcement will be made to rescind the boil water notice at that time.
