Your Resource for Fun
The City of Callaway offers a wide range of fun recreational and community service programs. Learn more about these opportunities and access additional information related to our community programs:

Annual Children Fishing Rodeo
The City of Callaway hosts this event for children 16 years old and under. It is a free event and is held at the Callaway Recreational Complex in the month of May. Many local celebrities, businesses, and media come out to support us. Free food and drinks are provided. Door prizes are given out and trophies are awarded to the participants of the Children’s Fishing Rodeo in various categories.

Annual Veterans Day Parade and Celebration
The City of Callaway honors its heroes, American servicemen and servicewomen, who have served and are serving our country in the five branches of the United States Armed Forces. Participation involves the City of Callaway, community leaders, veterans, the U. S. Air Force Aerial Support, local schools, community groups, and many vendors. There is a celebration with live patriotic music, free food, and drinks at Veterans Park following the parade.

The parade is held in the month of November.  Check www.cityofcallaway.com website or call (850) 871-6000 for up-to-date information about the annual parade.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
This event is held at the Callaway Recreational Complex in the month of December. Community leaders, area schools, choirs, and the public are all invited to help us celebrate. Light refreshments are served.
