If you are planning to construct an addition to an existing residence, you will need to submit an application with the Planning Department
. Additions must comply with the setback, height, floor area, and impervious surface requirements of the zoning district in which the residence is located. In addition, impact fees may apply if additional water and sewer fixtures are being added.
If you are planning to remodel the interior of an existing home or convert a garage into additional living space, please contact the Building Services Department at (850) 874-9347. Please note that if you plan to increase the impervious surface or floor area of a residence, you will need to first contact the Planning Department at (850) 871-4672.
