Non-Emergencies
Reporting Non-Emergencies
Often, incidents are not life-threatening, such as your neighbor is having a party with loud music at 3:00 am or an abandoned vehicle has been parked across the street from your house for one month.

When incidents occur that are not life-threatening, call the City of Callaway’s non-emergency number at (850) 747-4700.

What to Have Ready
Have the following detailed information ready to pass on to the 911 operator as it pertains to an incident (where, what, who, and how):
  • Exact location of the incident
  • If there are injuries
  • Number of vehicles / persons involved

Remember, whether the incident is life-threatening or not it is always important to be as detailed as possible. A 9-1-1 operator is the lifeline for the citizen as well as for the deputy sheriff who is in route to handle your situation.
